Humble Politician Nograj
Released on 2018
“Humble Politician" was my debut feature film as an editor.
Director : Saad Khan
Film Editor : Jagadeesh
The dream of becoming a film editor took seven years of patience and persistence. I had never assisted any well-known editor — instead, my experience in ad film editing became the foundation that helped me take on this opportunity.

The biggest challenge? Editing a 3 hour 15 minute film down to 2 hours 29 minutes, while maintaining its comedic rhythm and narrative integrity. It was an intense but rewarding process, full of learning and growth.
Grateful for the journey so far — and this project will always be special as the one where it all began.

The News Minute

Kavaludaari
Released on 2019

When I started editing my second film, I already felt a new level of confidence in storytelling. I had begun to understand the craft of non-linear storytelling, and how to shape a narrative more effectively.
One of the key lessons was learning how to trim a longer film into a tighter runtime without losing the essence of the story. Techniques like intercuts, match cuts, and sound transitions played a huge role in achieving that.
After this film, I started receiving a lot more inquiries — it marked a turning point in my journey as a film editor.

Mayabazar -2016
Released on 2020
Director : Radhakrishna Reddy
Film editor : Jagadeesh
Mayabazar was a fun-filled and emotional story that I truly enjoyed working on. The film gave me the chance to explore non-linear storytelling and use intercuts in creative ways — both of which made the editing process deeply rewarding.
One of the highlights was editing the cameo song featuring Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar. It was an honor to work on a sequence with such an iconic presence, and a moment I’ll always cherish.
I was also thrilled by the positive response the trailer received — people really appreciated the pacing and the way it was cut.

Grey Games
Released on 2024

Grey Games is a slow-paced thriller that I truly enjoyed working on. The film’s gradual build-up of tension gave me a lot of space to shape the mood through editing. I especially loved crafting the climax — a sequence filled with intercuts and emotional layering that demanded precision and rhythm. The intro dance numbers were equally fun to cut, bringing a burst of energy that contrasted beautifully with the film’s darker tone.

Overall, the narrative style, visual tone, and sound design made this project a rewarding experience. Balancing suspense with pacing, and collaborating closely with the director’s vision, helped refine each moment of the story. Grey Games is one of those films where the edit plays a major role in the final impact, and I’m grateful I got to contribute to its texture, mood, and storytelling.
